Great Story!

This past summer while sitting for the Big Red Barn Art Show I noticed a woman carrying some of my cards while walking around the exhibit so I thought I would introduce myself. Her name was Nancy Mobley and while speaking to her I learned that she had seen my work before and liked it so much that she had decided to paint her own version of one of my paintings “Thee Red Poppies” I was so flattered by this that I asked Nancy to email me a photo of her painting which she did. Last week I ran into Nancy again while I was working at the Artisans’ Gallery and I asked for permission to post the photo of her painting along with anything she would like to say. Nancy graciously agreed. Thank you Nancy! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you sharing this with me. I love your version of the painting and look forward to seeing more of your work. Nancy's version of "Three Red Poppies" A quote from Nancy: "When I saw your cards at Artisans' Gallery, I was very drawn to their fun beauty. I have begun to paint a little and your images really spoke to me, so I did my version of this painting. I have since bought several other cards of yours and intend to paint them also. Your work is very happy!!" Nancy
